Yah it is the 07 recall - just was not sure if some people were still selling them. Especially an online buyer.

I use air tool oil. It is very cheap - you get a lot - and it is very odour free. I use only a little on a cloth and wipe it in a few times a season. As two of the three deer I shot this year came down wind - one circled at about 5-10 yards before giving me a shot - I don't think the sent gave him a...

Rage Broadhead Recall

I am sure this has likely been posted already - just couldn't find it. I guess the problem Rage Broadheads may not open all the way. Anyway there has been a recall on Rage Broadheads: Field Logic has discovered a defect in the Rage 3-Blade broadheads. The blades do not always fully deploy on product...

Thanks for the advise. Had the tenderloins - tasted great on the bbq - and no one got sick.

Guess I was a little too worried. Did rinse out the inside and again - tastes great - no problems.

Thanks again.

I was told they recalled some of the Rage "Field Logic has discovered a defect in the Rage 3-Blade broadheads. The blades do not always fully deploy on product shipped between March 6th and May 31st of 2007. We feel the defect may create performance issues of non-deployment or partial deploymen...

went with the 125 g slicks with Laser II brass inserts and have found them to be the best combo off my Max. I did run the 100 Wasps and found they worked good but did not fly as tight as the Tricks. They shoot like my field tips and are deadly. Taken three deer this year with them. With the last dee...

Thanks for the advice - i will get on it.

When you say wash, wash, wash is city water good - I had a friend tell me that the chlorine and fluoride in the city water is what does the damage - not the water itself.

I really don't know enough about it to say.

Stomach rupture - how to clean

I had one of those shots – I was high up in the stand - thought the deer was stopped – but she took a step. Entry was back – got one lung, liver and stomach. Waited until the afternoon – good blood trail with about 150 yard track. I don’t want to hear about the shot – I know it was poor – pissed me ...

I got a cheap energizer one form Home Depot - I am pretty sure it was under $20. Having owned some more expensive Petzl I have been very happy with this less expensive one. It has a red LED plus 4 white LED bulbs. I have seen glowing eyes when going in and out of the bush but never been able to ID w...
