Re: 335 Speed ?
Interesting. Shot 6 bolts ranging from 406.4 to 408.7 grains. Slowest was 352.8 fastest 364.2 fps. Unusually take the string off and back out and lubricate the limb bolts so they don't rust in at end of every season. Not sure what gen assuming first I've had it 2 years and sure the shop had it at le...

335 Speed ?
I have had my micro 335 a couple years now. I have been shooting the quil bolts but don't really like them. I decided to make up a few of my own to try. I got out the chrony to test them. I never did shoot the quils through the chrony. The arrows I made up with a hundred grain field point weigh 406 ...

I have sat over 25 days and still have a couple weeks left, would have been more but wife made me go out of country for 2 weeks. I have let over 30 deer pass in front of me waiti...

Re: Has the rut started yet in your area?
Watched a small 8 point sent checking and harrassing does in a field this morning until one of the does got mad and chased him from the field. I'm in southern Ontario and I would say its still a bit early for the big boys to join in but won't be long !

Re: Thoughts on deer decoys
Ha ha. The first time I put mine out in a field behind my buddies house on his farm. I watched as he came charging out the door to confront the game warden that had the gall to put up a decoy to catch poachers on his farm. We laughed when he found out it was me. Man was he mad at first he didn't eve...

Re: Another camera stole.
Sucks that you had one stolen but great that you were able to get pics. I have had several stolen and the cable locks don't help much as I have had several cut off. I think they carry those battery operated cut off saws and just cut them off. I have started to hang my cams up higher in the trees so ...

Re: Thoughts on deer decoys
I have been using a flambeau boss buck for a 3 years now.I was in the local TSC store and they had one on the shelf that had been there for about 4 years. I asked and the manager said he would give it to me 50% off so I bought it. I was going to hunt with a buddy in Kansas he told me to bring it and...

Re: Checking Arrows After the Kill
To make a cheap spin tester just get 4 equal size marbles and glue 2 together at one end of a board and the other 2 at the other end of the board. Lay arrow across both sets of marbles and spin it !
As far as checking arrows here ya go.
