Re: Turkeys
I just figured those Magnus bullheads would be a better idea so to take them out at the head/neck opposed to possibly hitting good meat. I know a lot of practice is needed before hand I love the bullheads as you don’t need to worry about missing a vital area and watching a bird run off wounded. If ...

Re: Smoke
I used to hunt in Kentucky and there were many tobacco smoking barns in the area. We would hang our hunting clothes in them . I had several deer walk right by my stand from upwind. I believe they were used to smelling that scent all day and night .

Re: Packing the Exomax
I have had an exomax for 25 years but recently got a new 335 . I have to say that I don't find the 335 any lighter just more compact. I still find myself carrying the exo its easier to draw and that thing is super accurate and has killed just about everything from turkeys to moose !!

Re: TURKEY HUNTING! It’s here New Brunswick
What Grouse said. I hate it when people say I just cut out the breasts and throw the rest away. There are a lot of good recipes out there for legs etc meat. I usually kill between 8 - 12 turkeys a spring and thats alot of leg meat to throw away. They make great meat for pulled turkey, soups, turkey ...

Re: TURKEY HUNTING! It’s here New Brunswick
I would have to apply to say I was in on the first season as that doesn't happen too often. If its like it was here in Ontario it will take them a while to get used to being hunted by us and they should be real dumb lol It was fun for a while hunting birds that would gobble like crazy then fly down ...
