Re: Hog hunting outfitter in South Carolina

As long as you stay away from Bostic Plantation you should be ok. Worked for them in the 80s and they had plenty of hogs but when I returned for a hunt in 2000, they were shooting very few adult hogs. Their advertisements are certainly unrealistic results that one should expect from a hunt there.

I've gone to the post ofice 2 days in a row to send a gift to a buddy of mine and the line was out the door and around the parking lot both days. I'll try to be in line when they open in the morning but I doubt that the pacage going to Canada will be late if I send it now :x .

Re: what glass to buy

I got a pair of Stieners for Christmas last year and they are great if you don't have to tote them around a lot, they are a little larger than Tyler's Nikon 10X42s. Those Zen-Rays look pretty good agingcrossbower and are in Munch's budget  .

GeorgiaBoy, I used an old field tip and ground the tip down flat. I then glued a standard nock on top of ground down end and made myself a jig.

Re: Last treatment

Well Tyler just got in and my cousin confirmed that Tyler had passed on three bucks today  . I asked him how big the bucks were and he said that the largest one was a 6 pointer. Again, I asked him why he didn't shoot and he replied; "I only have one buck tag left and I want to hunt with ...

Re: Last treatment

Thanks fellas, you guys are awesome you know that? I was hoping that I would be able to ride to the club in the morning but I feel too bad so my cousin is going to pick Tyler up in the morning so that he can hunt. He wanted to stay with me but he needs to get out. Hopefully I'll feel better by the f...
