Re: Matrix - Stringing & Unstringing
Hey Lou Just received a test string from Don. First time taking the factory string off the Matrix 380. Never owned a stringing aid in 20 years of owning excals. I'll tell ya, It was a brute but doable. Just make sure if you are putting a flemish string on you twist it enough so you get it close the ...

Re: Halfmoon Nocks?
1/2 moon nocks will work fine. Just make sure you line up the cock feather every time. I shoot maxima hunter kv's with Firenocks. Firenock only makes a 1/2 moon nock for the maxima hunter Kv's and as the firenocks are far superior to any other lighted nock out there with a a flat nock I used them. I...

Re: excalibur vortex bought in usa.
Derek You should have sent the duty ticket back to Scarborough for a refund. I have done it. Remember, according to NAFTA anything manufactured in participating countries do not have duty applied to them if they are purchased by persons within those countries.

Re: excalibur vortex bought in usa.
Just ship it USPS. You will not have to pay duty as excaliburs are made in Canada and the two countries have a free trade agreement. You will have to pay the taxes on the actual value of the item, unless you can slide it by as a gift or undervalue it.

Re: Heated jacket
The heat is tranmitted through carbon fible sewn into the jacket. So there is no added weight. The m12 lithium batteries are very small so you barely know it is there. The m12 XC is a little bigger and bulkier but worth the trade off IMHO for the extra battery life.

Re: Heated jacket
I have one and it is the cats meow. Nice and warm yet very lightweight. Two pieces of advice if you get one. Make sure you wear it up against your base layer. I wear mine over my underarmour. If you wear a sweater between your base layer and the jacket you don't feel the warmth as well. Also most of...

22 vs 20 inch bolts
I have been using 20 inch arrows for many years but was thinking of getting some 22 inch arrows. I was wondering if there are any differences performance wise between the two.
