HEAVEY HORTON

I was down at basspro last weakend and had to go into the crossbow section. There I seen a Horton recon a very strange looking unit , for a small crossbow it was very heavey . Has anyone else checked out this thing. I say thing because it don't look like a crossbow to me.

No I would not because if you break a string in the feild you are done . But with the recurve limbs you just pull out your backup string and restring it. And yes Excal has made a compound crossbow with bear archery.

When will they be moving

I have a wooded area behind my place of work and often see deer here. Today I seen a doe and a fawn, they were bedded down at 7:30am got up around 1:30pm feed for a half hour and bedded down again in the same area. Will they travel through the night or hold tight till morning? :? :?

1 bad hunter gives a bad image for a 100 good hunters.I shotgun hunt the same way as you, Isit in a stand and wait.If I take a shot it is 1 and then I lower the gun and watch were it goes.
