Looks nice. Don't lay it down in the woods, you could loose it! Seriously - I've almost lost my HD-Timber camo'd shotgun in the woods! I would tie a piece of trail marking ribbon around the grip or something to help you find it should you lay it down. EDIT: Once the gobbler season is over, will you...

excalibur x-acts?

Dragging this thread back up instead of starting a new one... Does anyone have any feedback on the 100-grain Exalibur X-Act mechanical broadheads? I like the idea that they don't require an o-ring to keep the blades closed when fired. I plan on using them exclusively for Turkey, tipping the 'standar...

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I've gotten my hands on some Rocky Atomic gear in Realtree AP. Its quiet and light for the warmer spring temps in May, and has scent control making is ideal for the start of deer season.

Thanks again!

I've been away from this forum for too long, and miss it! But now April 27th is around the corner, I have permission to bowhunt on some new land, and I have turkeys on the brain. Went to the T.O. sportsmens show today, but was a little dissapointed with the selection of hunting goods for sale :( I a...

You bet I'm excited. I plan on getting some turkey-related goodies at the Sportsmens show next week, then time to scout and hit the range until the 27th of April rolls around!

I truly believe one must focus on the journey, not the destination. Joy is found not in finishing an activity but in doing it. (Not my words, they come from Greg Anderson, but contribute a lot to my personal philosophy). As mikew has already stated, you owe us nothing with regards to Mr. Palmated Bu...

take a look at the photos from the 3d shoot this past weekend - you'll see a lot of Excals with GroundPounders installed. There's a reason for that!

No harvest with my Pheonix yet. I wasn't prepared for the deer season this year so I didn't even bother purchasing a tag this time around. I'm hoping to take a rabbit or two befor the end of February, and of course then comes turkey season!

Thanks a lot for starting this thread. I'm considering a climber for next season, and I'll definitely be shopping for one at the Toronto sportsmans show. Based on all the feedback on this forum, I'll probably be looking at the Summit Viper SS first.

Cheers,
