So I traded my bow in for a 22/410 combo gun. I will be darned if I didn't go back and put the same bow in lay-away this past weekend. I use ...

Re: Celebrity Hunters
I think Ted Nugent would be a blast to hunt with. Would love to hear his stories of when he knew and hunted with Fred Bear. My cousin use to work for Bear Archery He told me he got the chance to talk with Mr. Bear 2 wks before he passed on. Cuz told me he was a very nice man.

Shotguns
I have used shotguns with smooth bores for years on deer along with crossbows, and blackpowder guns ,Like it was said you do your part and the slug will do its. These new shotguns with fully rifled barrels and newer slugs wil shoot like you wouldn't beleave on target. My- self I am a short range sho...

Been awhile for me!!!
Haven't been on the forum for awhile. Have been re-living my childhood with pre-charged pneumatic airguns. Everything from the new Benjamin Disco, Marauder, and the Big Bore 50-cal. The big bore I have isn't a custom gun but it is a cross between a crossbow and muzzleloader. Can't seem to get enough...

Re: Dog Shot in head with Crossbow. Graphic Pictures. FIXED
I don't know why the other thread won't open up. but I can't get in to it to edit it either. Weird. Anyway; here it is again. Apparently the story is 2 kids each armed with a crossbow shot a dog once each in the head. Judging by the X-Ray picture, looks like they were using field points. Poor dog. ...
