Is there any new information on Mnr extending the whitetail deer season to january 31 for ontario residents ? if so i better step up and get some snow shoes...

apparently there was 430 birds taken during that one week in the fall, 60% of those birds were made up of hens. 10,220 apprx birds were taken during last spring.

Season doesnt start till monday april 27, apparently when the april 25 date starts on a saturday or a sunday it gets pushed to the following monday. Not a huge loss, get to slam some trout in the mean time.

Whenever the riffle season approaches, i am sure to update my first aid kit. I always carry mine on when we are dogging out farms or even just on my stand. not only is it good in case of a flesh wound / gun wound, it can also save your life in the bush like Survivorman says. .

Yes, i have had little sucess using other crops, however its a naturdal run for the deer to use so we had been using a few mineral deposits with great sucess. its just a matter of keeping them constent between, bedding are, watering hole and soon to be feeding area.
