Saw that special too and searched the internet for reviews. Apparently eat-up batteries and trigger speed very slow. I decided to NOT buy one!

Re: The Excal X-Act Broadhead

I shoot a Phoenix X-Bow and shot a doe here on opening day with stock 20" Firebolts and the 100 grain X-Act mechanical broadheads. Shot the doe at 20 yards, the arrow passed right through and the doe only ran another 20 yards, fell and never got up! The cuts from the X-act were as advertised w...

Re: Feed Times

Thanks to all that have replied. Given the size of my feeders (5 Gal),I can't afford to feed six times a day and it's not like I can go every other day to refill them because of distance and time. Besides, the least amount of human presence in the woods, the better. Thanks again, the replys were hel...

Feed Times

Hi everybody, it's been awhile since I've been on the forum but once again I am asking for your thoughts. I just bought two feeders for deer, they will be filled with corn and I wanted to know what your opinions are about what times the automatic feeders show go off. The feeders have timers that can...

Re: Response to an "anti"

I could have never said it better. One of the problems is that the general public don't realize that most hunters and fishermen are serious conservationists and NOT just after the so-called kill!!!

It's a frame of mind!!!!

Re: More Coyote attacks

let's face it.....it's always a balance of nature and if we were not around building towns and cities.....it would not be a problem. Of course, I'm no different from most people in that if they are in my back yard.............well!!! On another note, in my area, they are 'THE' major predator of the ...

Re: Longer Turkey Season

I would say that the hunting is ok....especially being where we are. It still amazes me that there could be wildlife like deer, turkey and coyotes so close to an urban setting. The animal wildlife is very adaptive.
