Re: X-act broadheads

I have used them for the past two seasons with good success. No problem deploying the blades and good blood trail. I used fixed blades before the xacts and much prefer the mechanical.

Re: Fall Guy

I have two and wouldn't be without them. They can be used for fixed stands as well as with climbers. So far, I have never actually had to use them in the sense of falling out, but the release and retrieval of the safety strap has always functioned exactly as it should as I get in and get out of my s...

Re: da griz knife

I should have added that I bought the knife as a present. Now I want to keep it and I am afraid that my evil twin may win out.

da griz knife

I recently received this knife from da griz. I hope I have been able to attach the picture. Great workmanship and great to deal with.

help with pictures

I'm stuck. I want to post a picture but am blessed if I can figure it out (obviously not overly blessed with the techie smarts). I have created a photobucket account and uploaded the pictures from my computer to that account. Now I hit a wall. Somebody want to take me by the hand and spoon feed me t...

You are right - practice doesn't make us better at it. Those are wonderful pictures. I am sorry for your loss.

Re: News Flash!

Da Griz,

I agree 100% that you don't make junk knives. I disagree 100% that your mind moves slowly.

I'm in.

Re: A deal for somebody!

DaGriz, i agree with Mikej when he says there are a hundred reasons to want a hand crafted knife like the one you have made, but that it is difficult to provide a reason for deserving it. Reading the posts it strikes me you have several very deserving candidates. It is a fine piece of workmanship an...

Re: OT - dog training collars

thanks to all who responded. As is usual with this forum, good advice and offers to help. My dog is an 8 mth old female rottweiller. I've done the puppy obedience at which she was pretty good. The problem is her stubborness. Half the time she responds well and immediately. The other half of the time...

OT - dog training collars

Any one here had experience using these collars ? I'm not looking to use one for field training but in general obedience training. I'm hitting a brick wall with my 8 mth old pup depsite having done the dog obedience training. I need something to get her attention without intiminating her. I've looke...

Re: Sexual Induendos...

It is often a fine line between being considerate of each other (male or female) and being politically correct. When in doubt, err on the side of caution. As for thinking about what I have written before hitting the 'Send' button, I try to recall my mother's advice which was "If you can't say s...
