I've encountered the same attitude from bow shop employees (not Bass pro). My response is to not respond and take my business elsewhere. I doubt the owner feels that way, but he hired the people with the attitudes. I generally like to shop at local stores, and have bought two recurves from the above...

A Point Blanc might be the best choice. Anyone know a US dealer for the Point Blanc crossbow? I found archersnook.com (CA) who sell a deluxe model, but no one else. Anyone know a vendor (US or CA) who sells the standard PB? For what its worth, gandkarchery.com (also CA) sell the lite limbs and stirr...

Easton Carbon vs Excalibur Bolts
I have three sets of bolts, Excalibur Gold Tip Laser II's, 2216's, and Easton Carbon all using 100 gr field points. I found a noticeable difference in the accuracy between the Gold Tips, 2216's and the factory Easton Carbon bolts. The Easton Carbon's impact point shifts and they aren't as consistent...

Replacement Riser?
Can a replacement riser be purchased for a new (2006) model Excalibur Phoenix? I have found where replacement limbs can be bought (www.archersnook.com), but no riser. Can a replacement riser be sold through a dealer such as Dan Miller, or must a replacement riser be bought used? I am looking to swit...

I just bought an Allen double bow case shown here: http://www.keystonecountrystore.com/Soft%20Cases/Allen_Company_Double_Bow_Case_BU_3_pocket_42%22/Page_1/BOC2122504.html While it's not the same case described by Swede, it does handle the stock and prod assemblies well. Also, a box of bolts in a MTM...

Just to clarify, I was referring to the bag target which is only for field points. It has a picture of a deer with a mask on one side and a broadside with the vital area marked on the other. I haven't taken it apart, but believe its like my older bag target stuffed with something like nylon screen m...

Hi, I am dragging this post out again to find out if anyone is interested in getting a bow case like Swede showed? I contacted www.excaliburcrossbows.de and they want 117.32 euros for the case with shipping. I think the case alone is 80 euros. I considered buying one but the wiring of money and exch...
