I use a ground Max DX which is the larger sized version. This blind is excellent. Sets up in seconds, very rigid in the wind and the fabric is not that cheap shiny type like some of the lower priced ones. My 2 best bucks have been taken while hunting from it. If you also hunt with a compound then do...

What about the versatile hunting dog breeds? These dogs are likely very trainable and intelligent and would handle alot of hunting chore also.

I really miss having a dog but to do the dog justice they need to be worked and trained and my life just doesn't allow that right now. My beagle had an amazing pedigree and my buddy owned the father which was a CKC finished champion and the mother had many trial wins herself. Unfortunately he got gl...

I used to have one and have had many friends who did and still breed them. They make great family pets as well as hunters but they are still a hound and will not stay put in a yard without being fenced or tied up. That nose never stops working !!!

All joking aside, this seems like a great site. And as already stated above everybody seems eager to help out.

That is actually scary. With more States bringing in crossbow seasons you would think that the market was getting bigger and I'm sure Horton was a player in the game. I hope that this doesn't spread to other companies.

Switching out Ibex stock with Phoenix stock?

Do you think they would sell an Ibex stock so I could switch with my Phoenix stock? I have brand new limbs and the bow is in excellent shape but I do prefer the thumbhole stock.

I would get him the new Ibex. Plenty of power and the new pistol grip stock looks like it has a shorter length of pull. Should fit him better.

HHmmm. That might be fun. Are they using fields much that time of year? I haven't goose hunted since I lived in Quebec and it was snow geese we hunted then. Might be fun since nothing else is open then anyway.
