Re: Snow Camo
I am thinking of picking up a 22 mag or possibly a 17 HMR myelf. Do you use it on coyotes at all and if you do what do you consider it's effective range? I was thinking the .22 mag might be efective to 100 yds on yotes?

Re: Anyone Know About "Sail" Hunting Stores?
There are actually 2 stores opening in the GTA this week. One in Oshawa and another not too far from Basspro in Vaughn. They have several stores in Quebec and seem like a successful chain. This might just do in Lebarons and thier pathetic customer service and surly employees.

Re: Twilite Delux scope??
I fully understand the issues with 30mm scope tubes. I own several scoped rifles. What I want to hear about is how the scope performs and compares to regular 1 inch crossbow scopes ? A 30mm tube and 44mm objective is a design that lends itself to better light gathering, thats what I am curious about...

Twilite Delux scope??
Anybody have this unit yet? With a 44mm objective and a 30mm tube it should be a very bright scope in fading light I would think?

One of the guys I own my deer camp with and a close friend is an Ontario game warden. The stories we hear about the dim wits who try every trick in the book to get by the laws and Co's is a joke. Here's a warning for you all. These guys are pro's and have seen every trick in the book. The only thing...

I use an HHA sight on my Bowtech compound bow and love it. This seems interesting?

Where you hit the moose has alot to do with blood trail. If you hit him high it will fill the lungs and he could cover some ground before showing a heavy bloodtrail. I f I was choosing a xbow for moose it would be the 200lb. Vortex. It lets you shoot a heavier arrow at decent speeds and is all you n...

I bought the TK 10 last year and couldn't be happier. My buddy is an Ontario GAme Warden and they carry the same unit on duty. The batteries are not cheap but this thing lights up the night like an airplane landing. It truly is amazing and I only use it for hunting so don't mind the price of batteri...

Allright, some of you "connected" excalibur fans here must have some inside info on the new stuff. Who's gonna spill the beans? Thinking of upgrading my Phoenix.

Shooting pregnant does is a non issue as most are bred before the end of archery season now as it is. This is a herd reduction measure only and aimed at reducing the deer herd. If its needed I'm OK with that as you are better to charge money for tags and use the extra deer than have them die over th...

The EU are a friken bunch of Hypocrites. They have basically destroyed much of Europes forests and wildlife yet they have the gall to critisize a humane and regulated harvest of a renewable natural resource. For example a Spanish trawler can scoop millions of immature fish and then how do these fish...
