I remember a simple rule on a forum I once used to frequent regarding trolling... ...if you were to 'troll', you were to have the common courtesy to leave your full name, phone number and address so you could speak 'man-to-man' with the person you had decided to 'troll'...otherwise, it was not toler...

That's a yote...that tail is not long enough in comparison to the body size to be a fox.

Deer and Deer Hunting and North American Whitetail are two of the better shows, especially since they do far more than just show some good'ol boy sitting in a tree stand shooting a deer. At least you get some background on various other aspects of deer hunting. Jim Shockey's Hunting Adventures is on...

I guess it depends on where you live, that would determine what the cops typically see in a day and also affect how they react to certain situations. In the city the police typically do no see citizens with firearms, in the country it is a pretty common occurrence, during hunting season here it see...

80 yard shot on a moose up hill    did he recover it? He did. Still...it was a poor lesson to teach. I don't care how much I've paid for a hunt...if I miss a moose at 30 and he's standing there looking at me at 80 uphill...he can go. Mother Nature deserves far more respect than t...

I'm well aware that trigger locks are not required. I'm also well aware that some LEOs are not well-versed regarding laws pertaining to the transport of firearms. Having been at the side of the road with a LEO in the past, getting ready to walk into a property I have permission on and having him ask...

That sort of thing happens to all hunters, DirtyGun. The day will come when you'll laugh at this! :D I've always said that if you have never had any 'technical difficulties' in the field, then you haven't hunted long enough. Laughing about it already. I just wish that I had someone with me t...

heck, watch about any hunting show and a 55-60yard shot is becoming norm now for compounds I was watching a show on WildTV last week that had me yelling at the screen. I can't remember what show it was, but the hunter missed a moose at 30 yards with his compound. The moose then ran up a hill and st...

Turkey season's over...frustrating morning to go out on.

There is one very lucky turkey in Huron County. One EXTREMELY lucky turkey. There were no gobbles to be heard this morning as the sun came up. At around 7:00 a.m., I let out a few yelps and a gobbler sounded off on the other side of the bush lot. I put the call down and waited him out. He gobbled ag...

I almost hit a new fawn and her mother the other day on my way out turkey hunting. Good thing I wasn't dozing off behind the wheel at 3:20 a.m.!

Stopped the truck approximately 15 feet from them...so I learned that the fawns are out and my brakes work.

The police don't cut deals. The Crown Attorney does.
