Laid up with the flu and passing time on computer, I found this to be worth a laugh. The sound effect works well.

Hill Country deer hunt
Neat thread! Here's my Dad and me at camp when I was 12. Got a bunch of family pics from way back. Grandfather decked out with his stick shift motorcyle is one of my favorites. I'll try to post a few when I can get them scanned. Interesting how these heritage photos from all over resonate as so fami...

Remarkable fish, any where or when. Here's my catfish from Lake Texoma a couple years back. Scaled out at 101#

Appreciation
Thanks for sharing the photographs. Great house, great dogs and great compositions. Old house on our farm is 1916 (cabin burned 1913), but hasn't the character or scenery. Did find buttplate and fittings of great gp's shotgun from the burn when excavating for our new house. Too many new neighbors, n...

Dodge trannys
Congratulations, and my next will be "new to me". Purchased new, my 86 Ford standard 4 speed with lock out hubs; great for work and off road. Like me, still works a little. No air, no speedometer, no fuel gauge--but no payments. My 96 Dodge 2500 automatic is on its third transmission at 13...

Photo size
Large size in post was obtained by copying the url of the photo while displayed full size in photobucket. Many of my pics are public at photobucket under username weitasone. Hunting albums I have up now are titled woods and solemn. It's great to see the hunting photos from so many parts of the count...

Nock logic
New to xbows. Got a very good deal on a dozen 2219's, but with moon nocks. I'm changing them out for inserts because moons are not recommended and I'm not so hard-headed as to ignore the folks that made the bow. My logic tells me that though they may serve no purpose, if always correctly oriented, t...

Foiled again
Only thing I could get to work was to copy and paste the address without the preface [img]. Anyway, all the albums I put up are public at www.photobucket.com/willervin Some are quite dated. Appreciate your patience. Will

Killing time waiting on a contractor so bear with me and I'll try to upsize the pics properly. http://i485.photobucket.com/albums/rr213/weitasone/solemn/txdeer.jpg?t=1232637523 http://i485.photobucket.com/albums/rr213/weitasone/solemn/txbuck.jpg?t=1232637568 http://i485.photobucket.com/albums/rr213/...

Greetings
Thanks one and all for the welcomes and explanations. My best guess was a matter of differing shaft spines and flex affecting the departure angle slightly, but having just started I wanted cross opinions to consider. Just ordered a crossbow butt because I can't roll our round bales tight enough (wor...
