Re: 2021 Ontario Moose draw system
L.C.B.H. I have to agree that when it comes to the way the MNR has gone about handling the way moose tags are doled out, it leaves a lot to be desired. However I don't believe one should blame any group, indigenous or otherwise for being allowed free rein on what they are allowed to do. In this case...

Re: 2021 Ontario Moose draw system
Chris what bothers me is that the MNR is not really interested in making it fairer, or increasing hunting opportunities. They are just trying to increase the amount of money that they collect. In my opinion, if the MNR was interested in making it fairer they could have made applying for a tag free, ...

Re: 2021 Ontario Moose draw system
Sorry Chris, if you feel that I hijacked your thread. Being that I'm 30 years your senior, I don't expect you to know that I'm only stating facts and not 50 year old misinformation. The point I was trying to make is that over the years the MNR has greatly increased hunting costs, while having decrea...

Re: 2021 Ontario Moose draw system
If you are awarded a tag, you must claim the tag before the relevant tag claim deadline in order to receive it. To claim a tag, you must purchase a $35 moose licence and pay the tag fee ($30 calf tag, $150 cow/calf tag, $200 bull tag). It's gone from bad to worse to finally ridiculous. I remember t...

Re: Disaster moose hunt
Sorry to hear that. Hopefully, from what I've read on The Excalibur Facebook page, a solution to the limb failures seems to have been found. Apparently, the limbs that are being produce now, along with some new hardware should resolve the problem. Follow link for more info: https://www.facebook.com/...

It's guys like this that are clueless and contribute to the increased incidents of limb failures.

Re: Excalibur 2021
I feel that we might see Matrix size limbs making a comeback. I say that due to what I've read on the Excalibur Facebook page. Some folks are complaining once again about Micro limb failures. Some are blaming it on faulty limbs, while others seem to think that it's the riser that's at fault. Persona...

Re: Chinese Stainless steel field points
I usually try to avoid amazon.com China virus goods but thought I'd give these a try... lol Not too shabby for $29.00 cdn to my door for a dozen weight matched stainless steel field points. All 12 weigh 99.8 gr to 100gr. :) They come with a case and lense cloth... https://www.amazon.com/ORRANNI-Sta...

Re: A360 UP AND READY FOR THE SEASON.....
Good to hear it made a good recovery, but it would of been better if it didn't need the surgery in the first place. Hopefully the surgery fixed things so that further operations will not be needed.

Re: Extra limbs
I feel I don't need spare limbs. The ones I've gotten will last me indefinitely.
Of course that's because I have four spare Excalibur crossbows.
