Ambusher I am certain your not referring to my smile  We take them to a processor to skin them so we can get the hides tanned. My daughter and wife are going to get some purses etc. made. There is plenty of meat that comes off them as well, mostly from the tail. We also had the heads mounted, ...

Steve B. To get in on a hunt you need to get a license which are usually sold out within a couple of hours of when they go on sale in july. The gator hunts are highly regulated. Your best bet is to look into hiring a guide to take you. What do we do with them? Eat the meat, tan their hides, and moun...

Gator hunt III
Just got back from last nights Gator hunt with my daughter. This year she takes top honors. She made two great shots on a 9ft and an 8ft gator. I finished off the night with a nice 8 footer. We passed on a few nice 8-9 footers for our last tag hoping to get one 10+. No luck, so I still have one more...

My wife asked me the same question when I was looking to buy mine! Here in Florida we have alot of wild Boar. On private property you can hunt them year round using any type of weapon. I had already taken one with just about everything else from a shotgun, rifle, handgun, compound bow, even a knife....

GaryL, Thanks for posting for me. It was killing me thinking I was going to have to wait another year to redeem myself from missing shots on my prior hunt. My daughter did not join me on this hunt as she got her gator in September. As such, the pictures are not as good! This gator measured 9ft 3in w...

Father/Daughter Gator Hunt II
I took my daughter out Gator hunting again this year this past Friday night. She made me proud by taking a nice fat 8 footer with my Exomag! The gator made some nice runs taking the line and bouy out to the open lake. Jessica did a great job handlining the reptile to the boatside where we hit em wit...

I owned the pro model and could not get it to work well for me. I hunt in Florida and would get far to many false signals. Any heat change is detected, therefore if the sun comes through heavy brush the contrast from shade to sun seemed to throw me off every time. I guess if you are tracking at nigh...
