robocop
Picture on the front page today of a metal policeman with a radar gun. Under it was the caption-speed on many city streets enforced by new robo cops. Re: Just curious?
I like my Equinox. The thumbhole is easier for me to use in a treestand.
I like the speed of my 225. If I hit shoulder bone , Dead Deer.
Reserving is no problem.

Re: varizone????
I had a V-zone that done the very same thing. Dan Miller traded me a new scope for it. That took care of it. Finally went to a Leupold 2x7x33.
No more problems and a lot clearer sight picture.

Re: equinox vs exocet
I don't think my Equinox is too hard on servings. I shoot a lot.
Too much wax causes the serving to move. Build a jig to stretch your string tight and set your server tight . The 225 is a little more than your average
crossbow . It's not for everyone but it will getter done.

Re: Excalibur Equinox
I get good serving life with Halo as long as I don't use much wax.
With the Equinox I get good speed and k. energy with a 500 grain arrow.
I've had the 200 and perfer the 225.

Re: Weight Screws?
You can also screw a smaller field point into the back of the insert with a little glue on the threads. You pick the weight you want just as long as it fits the inside of your arrow. Will not come loose. I tryed to take a point out after it had dryed and it is there to stay. For an aluminum insert ,...

Re: Curious who uses aluminum versus carbon shafts
I like aluminum best. Easy to work with. I add 3 inserts to the front by cutting the lips off and cutting the insert in back in half.
22 % FOC. with 125 broadhead in a 2213.

Re: Bow hunting in Muzzel Loader season
In Virginia muzzleloading and archery season are open at the same time.
You can carry both a muzzleloader for bucks and a crossbow for either sex
if you don't get confused on which is for what.

Re: 2213 s
For me aluminun has carbon beat. No inserts pulling out, no splintering, use regular fletch tite glue to fletch. The best mechanical broadheads come in 100 grains and by adding inserts , I can shoot 100 and still have a high FOC. I want my arrows to weight at least 435 to 450 grains. I'm also think...
