Re: want to thank,dan miller
Yall are right on about Dan Miller. He is a great guy on top of being very knowing. Some years ago I was having trouble with bolts not shooting well and having tons of variation between bolts. I bought a dozen of his Gold Tip Lazer II's. Some o yall maybe will not believe this but the first one of h...

Re: Target Problems
Got good venison on first afternoon. Two hours in the tree. Thanx folks for the good advice.
There is another thread going right now with a compressed peat moss target attempt. Interesting idea. Can buy many bags of peat moss for the cost of a target that won't stop arrows!

Re: Another broadhead target question
So End of the road,
Have you shot a broadhead into the compressed peat moss yet? I am very curious about that. Might even switch from my bag of rags cuz I bet you could pull out yor arrow with peat moss.
Please share your experience.

Re: Target Problems
Thanks guys for the good advice. A feed bag full of rags WILL stop any arrow! On the downside, you cannot pull a G5 out of it. No problem though, I just pulled out the rags and one by one removed them from the arrow. Takes a couple minutes, but I have the time and now a perfectly zeroed X-bow. Ready...

Target Problems
I shoot an older Exocet 175 and love it. Many whitetails have ran their last yards after getting to close to my x-bow! I finally ran out of good straight Rocky Mtn. bheads and have recently switched to Montec G5's preping for our season opener this weekend. I currently use a Yellow Jacket X-bow targ...

Re: Red Dot Sights
Bigbuck,
It's not that I doubt you, but where did you get that information? There is nothing on the ALDCNR website indicating a law change.
I would like to confirm it, thats all.
Thanks for the great news.

Red Dot Sights
This fall I will be using my Exocet for crossbow deer hunting in Alabama. I've been using and loving my Lumizone scope since they hit the scene but no magnification is allowed on crossbows in Alabama. What brand of red dot is the best? Which is the best for the money? Before any responses, I am lean...

Re: Alligator Hunting Questions
Can't believe there's nobody out there that has stuck gators with an Excal!
Gonna get this back at the top of the threads for a retry.

Alligator Hunting Questions
I have booked a FL gator hunt for next fall. Could those of you who have done it share some wisdom? I need to know what the best bolt and head is and ideas about line storage and float deployment. My primary interest is always accuracy. I shoot a 2006 Exocet with a custom birdseye stock and a Lumizo...
