Someone already mentioned illegal, but in Georgia it is illegal to use electronic devises in the persuit of game. Try and get someone to go with you and set up drives to push that deer out of it's bedding area. Even two man drives can be extemely successful if positioned the wright way. Good luck!

Congratulations Tye on your first bear. Size or not its your first bear. I shot one several years back and it was only 150 pounds but it was a trophy to me. It was so much more work than a deer I don't care to ever get another one regardless of size. I don't regret the one I took at all and you shou...

Whenever I shoot now its with both eyes open. Good habit. While hunting with scope or open sights it allows you to be able to follow your target better and see the sights at the same time. You always here of people not being able to find a moving animal in a scope, both eyes open will help elliminat...

Looks like something I saw in Colorado one time. I didn't know what it was and tried describing it to other hunters and they said it was probably a Martin. This looks like what I saw though. Only time I've ever seen one.

I am recieving 20 lazer cut plates this next Monday for the top plate and I am wanting to see the quality before I have any more made. As far as the uprights I have made some already and can make these fairly easy; however, I am waiting for quotes on these to be made at my old machine shop. I have b...

Alot of info on knives here, but with a good knife you need a good saw. I like the small Wyoming saw. When I go out west Elk hunting its small enough to pack with me and I feel a must when quarterin up an animal. It also does great on cutting the pelveis out of the way to be able to remove the bladd...

I knew it wouldn't take long for something like this to be posted. Then again the original intent was just for this type of info. It hasn't even been a week yet since I posted mine last monday and was amazed at the replies and hits. I was trying to put something out there as an idea to make things b...

Since we are all putting in our 2 cents worth I'll add mine. Tye start saving your money. With alot of things you get what you pay for. I love the Browning BAR with BOSS system. Probably twice what you are looking to pay, but I believe worth it. It took me about two years to come up with the dough t...

Not ignoring any of the responses, just still working on getting things lined out. Still looking into different ways to produce. I've gotten more response than what I think I can do on my own and am pricing things out. These routes are taking some time and I am as ancious as everyone else. Like I sa...
