Re: And then there were two!
Congrats! Just make sure you let your buddies know, otherwise, they come over and say something about the "new" bow and all he** breaks loose . . .don't ask me how I know these things . . .

Re: Got my new arrows
Danny gets the job done, eh? Great turn around. If you have a scale, then weigh the arrows. You will probably find they aren't too far off. I have a bucket full of odd arrows that I use for practice. I use a Sharpie to mark the weight on the vanes. With a little practice, you can hit the bullseye wi...

Re: Waterproof pants . .
OK . . .so, we have one man that has no problem making his son wear them and my wife was OK with me wearing them . . . What happens if I show up at Boofest with the women's pants on . . . Does my Exomax get ran over? Does somebody paint my car pink along with my fingernails? Will aging ship ...

Re: Waterproof pants . .
BTW . . .I did not try the women's pants on . . .it was strange enough to simply be looking at them and holding them up to my waist . . . I did get a couple of "looks".
My wife was dying laughing and tried her best to get me to buy.

Re: Waterproof pants . .
Let me clarify . . .I did not mean, do you wear women's clothes when you hunt . . .I asked if you purchased women's hunting clothes to wear hunting. I'm 5'9" and about 160 pounds and have a 33 inch waist . . .the Men's medium pants have a 36 inch waist(estimate). . .and checking online, a small...

Waterproof pants . .
Been needing a pair of waterproof pants for a long time . . .instead of getting them, I've just been praying for no rain during my hunts. Anyway, I came very close to buying a pair last weekend, but, they did not have my size. I wondered into the women's side and they had some over there that ...

Re: Arrows for a Vixen
Several years ago I put a mechanical that failed to open (it was still banded: Wabi . . I think it's important to note that the broadhead was double banded with O-rings. Back then it was common to double band the broadheads because of the fear of premature opening. Two of the thin elastic bands wor...

Re: Arrows for a Vixen
The Vixen doesn't care which weight or size BH but the arrow vanes may! Translation; Arrows fly best when steered from the rear...rocket science 101. The fletch must have a larger diameter than that of the broadhead in order to overcome the "want" of the broadhead to steer from the front....

Re: Lucky it was a Rage and not a Fixed
"As the shooter, whose bow was drawn, attempted to throw the shot away, the arrow accidentally released." Does this mean he was letting the draw off . . .not sure what kind of bow was being used, but, my Max would have taken his head off. He must have been trying to let off the draw of a v...

Re: Magnus Broadhead
Since I got my Exomax, I have never wished for more penetration . . .I have actually looked for ways to tame the penetration down a little. Heck, I've shot length wise through whitetail cutting heart, lungs, rib, and leg, and the arrow end up in a tree 30 yards away so deep I had to get pliers to he...
