I hunt VA, too....and I completely forgot that I can just leave the orange on the stand. That is the answer. That is what I do (and that is the law) when I am hunting in a blind during deer season, so I can apply it in the stand as well. I do need to comply with the law 100% because I sometimes hun...

I would hang a orange hat in the stand by a string and leave it all year. Make sure the hat can blow in the wind.

I found that if you use the right broadhead and make the right shot, then the bloodtrail and the dead deer are "one and the same". That's a nice sentiment but with all due respect, it's my humble opinion that if you were to make identically placed shots with any broadband and a toxic, the...

Well, to answer your question . . .I use mechanicals because they are the absolute best thing to use. Less things to go wrong . . .I've seen that debate and I'd have to tell ya, when you add in all the variables, there are less things to go wrong on a good mechanical.
