Re: What Is This
I wanted the brown because I believe in the late and early fading light it blends better in the tree stand. My buddy has the camo and in the fading light I can still see his bow shining out of the tree stand even though he has disapppeared. If his bow moves even the slightest I can see the movement....

Re: What Is This
That's exactly what I have only mine is a Exomax. Does it not have a tag on the side of the rail that tells you the model, mine is 1/4" by 2" and says exomax on it.

Re: E.H.D.
EHD has NEVER been found in Ontario. We do not have the right variety of midges that carry the virus. It's not to say that the variety of midges won't evenually cross the great lakes but they aren't here as of right now. In some parts of Ontario we've already had a frost and after a few frosts the d...

Re: Help with crossbow
Awshucks, the limbs definity say Wolverine and has the wolverine riser. The stock looks like the original relayer stock that narrows towards the forearm. They changed the wolverine stock to the thicker deeper shape to prevent finger tips from getting whacked. Plus it's walnut not camo. I believe it'...

Re: Does every Excalibur shoot everything well?
Big problem with short arrows when you are putting your boot in the stirrup to let down your bow you MIGHT forget to take out the arrow and lower the arrow right into your foot. Just like dry fire or keeping your fingers below the rail it just might/will happen. With the longer arrow your boot will ...

Re: Boots
I've had the Arctic Pro for 3 years now. I've worn them for Turkey in the Spring to coyote hunting in snow shoes until March. I pretty much wear them every day. Nothing ever kept my feet dryer or warmer they're rated to -60 degrees if active. They definitely fit small so buy larger especially if hea...

Huntfest Orangeville
If anyone is coming Friday or Saturday to Huntfest stop by the FROW booth and say hi. I believe there will be a number of forum members there measuring racks along with the Beasley brothers. Be sure to bring any unmeasured bear deer moose and turkeys and have them scored. Looking forward to seeing y...

Re: Deer Corn
I always buy directly off the farmer and buy a 1 tonne supersack =2200lb. That way it is the equivalent of 88 lb bag for $3.64. If you have contact with farmers or hunt their land you could maybe make an arrangement such as this to save money. I then put it into smaller portions to fill the feeders....

Re: Southern Ontario Deer
Gestation is 196-200 days for WTD. The first heat in Southern Ont is around First week in Nov.and if she's not bred then second heat is 28 days later, early Dec. You would have to estimate how old the fawn was when you saw it and calculate back from there. It would be fairly close as to which heat s...

No problem, but that buck and another basically looked like twin racks had spent the spring and summer at my farm and I had many trail cam pics. I wondered where he went. I'm glad YOU got him.

VixChix A lady from work was at the event and was just telling us about it. She had a great time and she says she Loooooves big guns (she sure has the bruises to show for it ) She won the trap shoot. Two hours of shooting for somone who had never held a gun before I'm impressed. I asked her if she'd...
