Wow

 got to give you credit - if only I could rig my ford escape to run on steam I will no longer be worshiping the oil gods. It never seems to amaze me on how fast they can get the oil from the middle east, refine it and put it in the tanks at the gas station whenever the cost of the barrel goes u...

Rabbit Hunting - Hagersville Area?

Hi - thought I would give this a try - my father and I used to hunt in Walpol between concession 13 and 14 along 54 - anyway long story short that land has been bought by Dufferin Aggregates and I contacted them in Concord Ontario and they do not allow tresspassing or hunting on their land. My dad a...

13 days and counting

I hope to get out this weekend - we only filled one tag this season (Oct) - last year was out on Dec 31st - may be out again this year. Heck I just enjoy being out and if were luck we get another this year.

Hmm put the xbow away and wait for the spring turkey hunt?

Baiting

I find it more satisfying having the deer come to you naturally - the only thing I use is anytype of scent blocker - I look at my surrounding and camo myself to blend right in. I had a laugh last year since someone with one of those atv was coming towards me (to my side) and I decided to get up from...

Always on the level

I had the same problem sighting in my .17HMR untill I noticed it was off level - I can place 3 out of 5 shots inside a nickle at a 100 yards now that it is levelled - levelled my xbow and it shoots very accurate.

Cheers

2216's

Hi, I switched back to 2216 after several of the the carbon one's shattered while sighting in the xbow and snaped a couple of them when I shot at a deer - the arrow snaped in half about 1/2 inch before the fletching - I don't use them any longer. I went back to 2216's and am doing my own fletching n...
