Custom bolts

Hey guys, I haven't been on the forum for some time and could use some help. My Gold Tips are in need of new vanes etc and the off season is a good time for attending to this. I'm not sure who is doing custom work any more but I'm most interested in an Excal member and preferably someone from Ontari...

8 pt buck heavy rack, archery

Here's a nice buck I saw a couple times during our local rifle season. On the last evening I decided to change tactics hunt alone and take the bow into thick cover. At 20 yards I was offered a standing frontal shot. Not something I would normally consider but I just watched our fearless leader Bill ...

I have made a decision as well to use the Rage 2 blade this coming season. Considerations for this are the rear deployment, large wound channel and similar flight to fieldtips...and several members offering their experiences. I understand CF's suggestion that a rage broadhead may not be resuable and...

We have another close race with several well composed entries.
First place would have to R.J., the one with his gurney.
In no particular order I'd give the following honourable mentions:
Unclefester
Buckstopper
Fish-n-Hunter
Woody Williams ~ 1st Turkey Bird
Jeeptag

Good luck to everyone.

LHRG

The business has been around literally for years. It's located in downtown Underwood, right on Hwy 21, can't miss it...infact I believe it's open 7 days a week. They always seem to have bargains or something on sale, something for everyone. If you are out for a drive drop in.

Thanks Kevin for keeping us promptly informed. The deer population in Southern Ontario seems to be continually increasing all the time. Although extending the season would be beneficial I believe it comes in a little short. Several years ago additional deer seals were introduced to help reduce the e...

Oh ya, sorry I should have put the scope cover back on for the pic. Right now the bow is relaxing as hunting season is over and I remove the string, dissipator pads and cover etc.

December archery deer

[img][/img] Here's a nice deer my neighbour took December 18. He was standing in some think cedars when this doe presented an opportunity. The 18 yard shot hit its mark and was easily recovered within 50 yards. He was using ...

 YES, exactly! This was two large bodied 8 pt bucks with long haired coats, and heavy legs/feet. Field dressed they would both have been apx 200# or 250# on the hoof. It appears they clashed and tangled antlers then endured a ferocious battle till their demise. I'm guessing the large area of s...

Deer hunting observation, graphic content

We have been hunting locally this week in a deer rifle season. I have some pictures (that hopefully will come thru) to show a rare and very unfortunate situation that probably occured within the last week. It requires close observation. http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj171/727sunset/Nov408001.jp...

I did a couple last year after my neighbour told me the steps. If you do a search for "european mount" also western mount there are plenty of sites with instructions. Good luck and maybe you could show us the results when finished.
