Re: photo contest: open for voting

great job everyone, I have at least 10 to choose from, great job lots of clear, clean tastful pictures. It's a hard call, but my vote is for CATCHER, his picture met all the criteria, plus a big buck and 3 big smiles. two future hunters I' assuming.

Re: Who Knows Which Way the Wind Blows?

I like most of us have seen deer do so many diffrent things, it seems like there are no rules. I one time spilled a bottle of scent on my hunting jacket, and during a snow squall had a 10 point mature buck leave two does and come right to me from about 200 yds away. I dropped him at 20 yds. I guess ...

Re: exchange gifts

I opened mine this morning, I just didn't get to the computer untill now. Grizz sent me 3 big jars of north carolina peanuts, I put them out for family and friends today and they were a big hit. I never heard of peanuts with sea salt and black pepper, but they were the first to run out. thanks Grizz...

Re: Trail-Cam Suggestions?

I have 3, all homemade. they work great and no issues, but I think now you can buy cameras just as good and for about the same price to make them.
you just need some input from the users on this board.

I don't know what one is most popular, but excaliber is the best. this just happened tonight. I dropped my exocet 200 from the tree stand (don't ask) I was 18 ft. up and it landed in pine needles, all I could think was I broke a limb or surely the scope is shot, it fell cocked with no arrow in it. w...

yes you got the rotten apple, I think less than 10%.
I've been checked plenty of times both fishing and hunting and only had one bad experiance in all those years. the 90% are very polite and respectful and treat you right.
I think they are doing a great job.

I can do it

I bought my exocet 200 last febuary, and have since added all the extras and shot it hundreds of times. I made my own arrows and am real comfortable with the whole set up. the only nagging question in my mind was will I be able to cock it in my climbing tree stand. monday after a morning hunt, I put...

short string tracker story. I had one on my compond about 20 years ago. I was in a tree stand and shot at a nice buck, the arrow missed hitting in front of him, and as he run off the string was running out of the spool. so I reared back with the bow as in setting the hook. seems preety dumb but it w...
