Re: Nocks for Victory Xbolts

OK, then the Xbolts and GT 2"s both have the same OD and ID? If so, good to know.

For all you older guys especially the ones with cataracts or even the beginning of cataracts, the illuminated red dots or reticles are just too bright. I switched to a Leupold with the Heavy Reticle and won't go back. I had a young baldy come in late the other night and stayed until it was completel...

I shoot a traditional 2 blade head that is 1"x2 9/16" long cut. It flies like a field tip and are quiet.

Nice job Bob. Hey, i have a question for you. Is it a rule in WI that you cannot field dress until after registration? Or you just chose to do it that way?

unfortunately Leupold doesn't make a crossbow scope
Sure they do, a 1-4x20mm or a 2-7x33mm with heavy duplex shotgun scope. Although i'm sending mine in after this season for a parallax adjustment. It's all you need.

I do them on a pig roaster also. The trick is to inject them with your favorite marinade every hour while cooking. Keep them pumped full. It usually takes about 4-6 hours depending on the size of the animal. I also will do whole hind quarters over my charcoal bbq also injecting them. Drip pan in the...

I put one on my Phoenix and like it very much. Quality string and fast shipping and good customer service. The standard Excal string is made at 35 1/2". Mine is 36" and gives me more room to adjust the brace height by adding a couple twists. The standard length sits right at the high mark ...

Arrow preparation is key: Remove all old glue residue with acetone and then scrub them with hot water and comet using a scotch brite pad. Rinse thoroughly with hot water and let dry. Do not clean the Blazer vanes. They are chemically treated for adhesion (as per instructions on the package). For Exc...

I always test my hunting clothes to see if they fluoresce, apparently that wavelength is visible to deer, while doing this in my office with the lights out with a black light I noticed a few of my articles of clothes "glowed", they did not make the cut. So then you're saying the deer can ...

I didn't go out this morning because it "might" rain . . .looks like a darn good chance. When it comes to archery, I like pretty good conditions. Some folks don't have the luxury of picking their days to hunt. They hunt when they have the opportunity. I build 2213's and trim the inserts d...

Unless i'm missing something, using two different FOC calculators, i come up with an FOC both exceeding 17% using your recipe.
