I'm with OkXbowHunter on this one... A Cabela's or Dick's gift card works best for me.

Re: How to get deer closer
When I'm in a pop up blind I'll eventually start to dose and to snore. Brings em in every time! Unfortunately they'll startle me awake which busts them out.

Re: Broad heads
No, not every one just tune BHs and sip the field tips. Many folks I know will spend a lot of time and some amount of money to get their BHs hitting and grouping with their filed tips. Last season my Muzzys grouped but not with my field tips. This year, as best as I can shoot, my Grim Reaper CB BHs ...

Re: Excalibur Crossbow will release the new S5 String Stoppe
I've used the LimbSaver Decelerator on a compound bow and was very pleased with its performance. Hope the excalibur one is using simular technology.

Hi Raymond,
I haven't seen EX-Blast online but that sure would be nice. I've been getting mine via email, sorry you're having such a hassle.

Re: Excalibur Crossbow will release the new S5 String Stoppe
Cant wait...Id like to see some pics! I had the pics linked, don't know what happened. Maybe in a temp location due to coming through on email? As luck would have it, sorry, I deleted the email. I'm sure I'm not the only one on the the EX-Blast mailing list, so perhaps someone else can post the pic...

Re: How Fast Can You Setup a Climber?
66 years old. I would guess ~15-20 minutes start to finish with either my API Bowhunter open stand or the way more comfortable (to sit on not to carry or set up or break down) Summit stands I'll sometimes borrow from others. The older I get the less climbing I find myself doing. Much prefer hunting ...

Re: If it aint broke...
Very impressive.
Were you getting 50 yard groups like that before the switch? If so why did you switch? Were you maybe looking for for more speed/flatter shooting by using a lighter arrow, something else?
Thanks...

Re: Switched From Slicks To G5 Strikers
Great! It really is nice to have BHs grouping with your field tips. Last year I just re-sighted in for my 3 blade Muzzys and didn't shoot field tips until the season was over. This year, like you, I was able to get my BHs (100 grain CB Grim Reapers) to group with my field tips.
Take care...

Re: o/t looking for info on muzzleloaders
Had one of their pistols in 45 caliber, think it was called Deer Hunter. Gun was made in Spain and I found it to be of reasonably good quality. Trigger sucked at first but after about 100 plus firings it smoothed out really nice. Traded it off for a .50 cal. PA Hunter sidelock BP rifle from T/C beca...
