I was going through the pics on the SD card from one of my game cameras recently.Had a few deer, a few hogs, even a few cows,I hit the button to scroll and there on the screen were two guys in full camo, one with a bow and one with a gun.The one with a gun has his face turned so that you can see a go...

This year it was 48 deg. last Sat for our opener and this weekend it was 47 for the low and 50 for the high since Friday morn with a cold wet north wind. Unheard of for thi...

The Texas season started cool for once. It was 47 on the thermometer this morning which is at least 20 degrees cooler than normal for the first part of Oct. Lots of moon up tho so most everyone had a slow morning. I had three slick heads come in and feed about 8:15am. I didnt shoot one on opening mo...

Texas' archery season opens tomorrow. I'm pretty much packed, but will finish and load the truck after the little one is in bed. Then up early and about an hour and fifteen minute drive in the morning. We are supposed to be cool(for us) and a slight breeze in the morning but turn to showers and stor...

During gun season I hunt out of an elevated box stand most of the time(shooting house). I like to get to the stand early in the morning,at least an hour before legal shooting time. This lets the woods settle back down and gives me the most incredible 30-45 min. of peaceful bliss that you can imagine....

I am sure that you have seen some muzzleloaders that were that color and wondered about them. The stripes in the curl...

"spare of the moment"????
