Re: Made some awsome biltong today

Keith, years ago I had a Hispanic laborer, whose wife sent him to work every day with a grocery sack full of tacos t...

Gosh, I’ve never even heard of “biltong”! Guess is it some kind of Asian thing?
I’ll have to look it up and learn more about it.
African, me thinks.

Re: Spitfire NAP Magnum 170 Grain

NAP did make a 170 grain Magnum Spitfire at one time. I think its been gone 2-3 yrs. Colton's Micro is set up w light arrows and 170 grain FOC for turkeys and 170 grain Magnum Spitfire's for deer and pigs. I was a bit skeptical of the FOC's shooting through a pig out of that bow, but during turkey s...

Re: This long range stuff is outta hand

X B I GO, I really enjoy the hunting with a bow, where you are close enough to see all the details about the animal. I enjoy rifle hunting as well. I used to shoot Metallic Silhouettes out to 500 meters offhand. ( there is much difference shooting at a metal animal and a living breathing animal. No ...

Re: Scope mounting coming loose

I use a "T" handle allen and tighten the fasteners enough that the shaft of the tool twists 90 degrees and hold it for a couple of seconds. I've never had a scope base screw come loose. ....Boo, I beg to differ. You have been know to have a Screw Loose on a few occassions! :eusa-think:  Anthon...

Re: Video of Axe shooting outdoors

Nice shooting. Shoot a big boy this year! Hey Steve, you too. My goal is to hunt, and shoot something. If I can just hunt, I'm cool. If I take a small doe, I'm over the moon! Dan, sitting out in the dark, waiting, then getting to watch and listen as God’s world wakes up... my fave! The de...
