Re: O.T.- Carp Shooting
Carp Shooting is a lot of fun  I have had a problem finding a good crossbow set-up for small rivers or within flooded timber. My Matrix 355 just has way to much power for these types of areas because you end up destroying a lot of arrows. ideally I would like to find a crossbow that is 30-50 lb...

Get a optimizer to mount your scope to ,shoot any yrdg you want to accurately .Use you scope if you want to .You can adjust according to your needs .. seen the optimizers but they are pricey and would rather not have to adjust in the field with a live target in front of me. But thanks for the tip, ...

Scopes, Sights, and 10,20,30,40...
Ok, been using a crossbow for a while now and just have not found the right scope / sight combination that I really like. This year I bought a matrix 355. I switched the tact-zone scope out for a bolt XR. The optics are super clear but I am not a huge fan of the yardage circles. I sighted in and am ...

Thanks. I will get out and try some shoot with that arrow in the different vane positions. Along with running through all the arrows I have again.

Stock Diablo Arrows
Hey I was out shooting this weekend with my Matrix 355 and Nikon XR Bolt I have it zeroed at 20 yards, then 31, 48, 63 I was using the 4 diablo arrows that came with the bow along with 3 more diablo arrows I bought in a separate 6 pack. At 31 and 48 yards I consistently got one of the diablo arrows ...

Ok, I got it to work, turns out my bolt threading was bottoming out and not allowing me to tighten it enough https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-OohAE1qqUJA/UeieHxEVBWI/AAAAAAAAf4g/GT1P9z4h0F0/s512/IMG_20130718_200425_132.jpg https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-rIeoy4eknKg/Ueicknda9HI/AAAAAAAAf34/o_SS...

Re: Danny Miller Top Mount Quiver
Hello, I am working on a similar project. My question is how you were able to tighten the mount into the riser enough so the post does not rotate. Both on the riser and on the default quiver mount plate. When I fasten my mounting plate to the post the plastic of the plate always has too much give, a...

Re: sights
unfortunately those 4 black dots are not actual holes in the matrix :), just something I was looking at doing to fix a open pin sight to it. But not that excal came out with all the warranty void information on modifications I am a little hesitant to do it. I have some contacts in a machine shop, I ...

Re: sights
I have one that I cannot use anymore, if your interested. let me know... I would be very interested just don't know if it would fit on the Matrix 355 From what the BRO guys tell me the sight will lock into the open spaces selected in red. What bow is it made for? https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-...

Re: sights
thanks for all the info. I been doing quite a bit of research on open sites. My first crossbow was a tenpoint and it has a two pin open sight on it. At times it was hard to see through the peep. Then the pins would tend to slip out of position due to the force of the crossbow shooting. After doing a...
