Re: What's the most reliable Excal?

I have a 175 lb Exocet that I bought new in 1993 (I think). I've used it every year since for hunting and 3D. I think I changed the string once. Probably didn't need it but... My son is shooting it now, since I upgraded to a Matrix 355. No reason for the new bow, but I had some extra pesos and it wa...

Crankaroo help please!

Hi, I recently acquired an older style Crankaroo to use with my old Exocet. It's the really old model with the safety on the side of the trigger housing instead of the back. When I drilled the hole in the stock and tried the crankaroo out, the hooks would engage the safety as they slid back, just be...

Re: C2 Crankaroo ?

Thanks. I've got a lead on one but just wanted to make sure it would work before I pulled the trigger on the deal.

Hi, could someone tell me whether the C2 crankarooo will work on the new Matrix bows. (There is no cheekpiece on mine if that's can issue). Thanks very much.

Re: How do you turn off your Lumenock?

Another good reason to get a set of those pliers. I 'll have to get in touch with Boo before he sells out again. Thanks

Re: Help Please - Crossbow Problem

It's probably caught on your anti dry fire device. Put the safety on fire, and grab your rope cocker and try to recock it. It should work. then either decock as per Excaliburs intructions for using the anti dryfire rig, or shoot a bolt into your target bag. Try that anyhow. Hopefully it's nothing si...

Re: How do you turn off your Lumenock?

Got them. Couldn't do it with my fingers, but delicate use of pliers wiggled them out enough to turn off. Thanks for your help. My batteries can live on!

Are the turkeys gobbling?

Howdy, Just wondering how the weird winter weather and late spring in Ontario has affected the turkeys. Are they gobbling? Lot's of birds? I'm going to head out this afternoon for a little recon and check some of my spots.

Re: Howdy - Newish to the Forum

Thanks so much for the warm welcome. Remember, just because I've been doing something awhile doesn't mean I'm good at it. :D I have accidentally killed a couple of blind and deaf critters through the years though. Although they might have just expired from old age just before the arrow hit them now ...

Howdy - Newish to the Forum

Greetings all, I'm been monitoring the forum for a couple of months (since I found it) and thought it time to introduce myself. I'm a long time crossbow shooter/hunter from Burlington ON. I bought my first Excalibur crossbow (an Exocet 175) about 1994 if I remember correct. Still use it. Just picked...

Re: Older Exocet - HELP!

It's a Woverine stock with Exocet limbs. I just pulled my 1994 Exocet out of it's case to check and it's synthetic stock looks nothing like the one you have. That is obviously a wood stock. Cheers
