Re: Camera Location and Checking Trail Cam Pictures
I used some Panasonic C batteries in the Wildview camera, brand new but cheaper brand and they did not last the week. Will the camera continue taking pictures even when the red light is on? Hmm...

Re: Camera Location and Checking Trail Cam Pictures
I'm taking your suggestions...I am buying a used camera off of Kijiji that takes SD cards for $15 and will also have extra cards for each camera. Hopefully everything will work out and I can post some pictures to the website. A friend suggested that I take 3-4 apples into the field and crush them, a...

Camera Location and Checking Trail Cam Pictures
I just put up 2 trail cameras and feeders near our cottage in Northern Ontario. Because it is all Crown land I decided to go with the $49 Wildview cameras that I ordered from Cabelas. My question is, how long should I wait to see if I'm going to get any action before trying a different location. The...

Re: Best Crossbow Target to buy
I think Rinehart has a new RhinoBlock that looks interesting. It has a price tag ranging from 130-150 online. I'm wondering if it is worth it. How often do hunters practice with broadheads versus field points? For my compound bow, the Innerloc expandables worked great and flew just as well as the fi...

Best Crossbow Target to buy
I'm just wondering which target would be the best to buy, for field points, broadheads or both?

Re: transporting my equinox on a 4-wheeler
When I mounted the crossbow with the arrow/butt facing sideways on the rack I found that the limbs interfered with the steering. I would suspect that even having the crossbow cocked while traveling (which brings up other concerns) the steering would still be interfered with. Was there a trick for th...

transporting my equinox on a 4-wheeler
Last year I had great difficulty transporting my excalibur equinox when riding on my 4 wheeler. I tried using the sling over one shoulder then over the shoulder and across the chest, and finally tried mounting it using Kolpin Gear Grips but I was concerned about the rough ride bumping the scope. Doe...

Xact broadheads with Firebolt bolts
I have an excalibur equinox and was wondering if anyone has tried the x-act broadheads on the firebolts. I will probably shoot the boltcutters that came with the right stuff package (because I am shooting moose), but I have the innerloc broadheads that are the exact same as the excalibur ones. Will ...

Crossbow Hunting for Cow Moose
I'm just curious if anyone can share some possible strategies for archery hunting for cow moose. We were fortunate to get a cow tag in 21A for the archery season. I have called in a cow on one occasion (last year), but that's it.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
