My Exomax shows none of this. I just looked very carefully to be sure. I have seen this before, on bow limbs.

Whoa! Scary stuff! Mine doesn't do that, but, it does require more to release safety if I squeeze trigger first. I've read on here that some do it on purpose to take slack out of the trigger.

I know this makes you sick, but, you can find him if you take your time. Use binoculars to scan in front of you, and move very slowly. If it is legal to use a tracking dog, by all means try to find one. If you cannot follow his trail, find water and or thickets close by. If he goes uphill very far, ...
