Re: tree stand question

I use a CDS. Controlled Descent System harness. Best harness on the market. Allows you to lower yourself easily back to the ground.

Re: How not to get invited back to hunt a property.

My Mom just gave permission for 2 people to hunt her place, only Monday thru Thursday. They showed up on a Saturday, and it was 4 people . One of them shot after dark, ten minutes later showed up at the house, said he couldn't find blood. When asked what he shot at, he said couldn't tell if i...

Re: New to string making

That's funny right there!! Boo, i have been watching your serving video on-line, and, am in the process of making a jig to re-serve strings on. I used to make bow string for a few years when I was working in an archery shop. Am thinking of trying to slick up my latches like you show too. Any suggest...

Re: 400 fps?

My Exomax shoots a 427 gn. arrow at a "slow" 328 fps. Yesterday I shot a mature doe through one shoulder blade, two ribs, and opposite side upper leg bone. Had to pull pretty hard to get my arrow out of the ground! Shot was 30-32 yds. I really don't want any more power than that. On anothe...

Re: I really didnt want to put this on here but it is import

Some fellows came to my Mom's to hunt last weekend, after I had gotten out of my stand,(after dark) I heard one of them shoot  . When they got to the house I asked where the deer was. Couldn't find any blood they said, only ten minutes had gone by. I ask if it was a buck or doe he shot at. Co...

ST5

My ST5 came yesterday, and I put it on, with intentions of taking it off to hunt tomorrow and Saturday, put it back on, and sight in with it Sunday. Well, I got off work early today, and came home and took a few shots with it on. My sights hardly changed! I fact, it evidently slowed me down just eno...
