I have a Ibex with the stock extender and cheek piece. I like the ease of the 175# pull and have put down three Whitetails since Oct. 1st.
Let us know what you decide and how you like it.

I take all my Easton bolts when bought and take the inserts off and re-glue. I use the Excalibur bolt puller and a rubber mallet to remove them. If you want to replace the knock, insert a smaller shaft arrow and knock it out. Works for me!

I would agree with most that the rope cocker works best. But be sure the rope is in the grove under the safety !

Butt & Cheek Piece

Just added the Excalibur butt extender and a cheek piece to the stock of my Ibex.
Makes for a great feel and faster on target to the scope.
Maybe this should be standard equipment? :)

Thank you for the positive replies. I used the term "Horns" years ago until I found out that they were "Antlers." So-called hunting pros on tv often refer to the "Horn" term. They should know they are not "horns", if anyone should! No big deal anyway, just tho...

Are these replies what you call constructive criticism ? Some can't wait to be funny when others try to present the facts !
Thanks for the replies any way, I guess everyone knew the difference.

Horns or Antlers ?

Horns are permanent, usually contain a bony core and keratin ( the fingernail stuff.) Horns can adorn both male and female animals and are not branched. Some animals with horns include cattle, bison and goats. Antlers are made of a bony substance, not keratin. They are shed and regrown every year. G...

Had the same problem. The factory uses a very small amount of glue, if any. I just glue them back in the shaft myself.

Look into the Garmin (GPSmap60csx) it does just about everything a hand held GPS can do. I have had very good luck and customer support from Garmin, a USA co.

I shoot the Ibex Thumbhole, that was one reason that I bought it. I converted my TC Omega to a thumbhole two years ago and I am very pleased with both stocks. I feel I can get a tighter grip pushed in to my shoulder and a straighter trigger pull.

This is why I don't use mechanical blades anymore. I have used Rage and Spitfires and just don't have the penetration of a fixed blade.
