Ladder Stands

Seeing as to how I am a fairly large individual, (will go 250-260 depending on travel and meals with clients, they all like steak) and, I like to get up, who makes a safe sturdy ladder stand that has a platform at least 16' of higher off the ground? I have looked at the Big Game stands at the local ...

Re: Lit-up nocks for GTII or Firebolts?

I haven't tried any other brands so I can't compare but I did install BC Lumenoks in the Firebolts I'll be using for hunting this year. I installed them in new shafts that already had nocks in them so I had to remove them before installing the Lumenoks. This was simple to do and the Lumenoks work p...

Re: who uses slick tricks?

I have taken three deer with the Slick Trick 125 Magnums. They do in fact hit to the same point of impact for me, (Exocet 225+Firebolts) as the filed points. All three have fallen withing sight, so trailing has been a moot point. This is my third year with the xbow, so I am using the same broad heads.

Where can one purchase the Angel Majesty serving material?

Re: Fletching nock adapter

Guess the location of the fletching in relationship to the shaft makes no difference. Without the nock adapter, the fletching is further up the shaft, but it is only about 3/8", so I guess it really does not matter. I uniform my primer pockets, debur my flasholes and anneal every fourth firing as we...

Re: Fletching nock adaptor

Flat nocks in standard Firebolts.

I cut an old nock from my compound days last night and threaded it with a home made tap out of a 8X32 bolt, then cleaned out the threads and glued a section of 8X32 in.

Fletched a few this morning.

Re: Taking does

Our church holds two bar-b-ques a year, and the proceeds go to the local processor. We put up enough cash to pay for 100 deer to go to the Hunters for the Hungry. Our farmers want us to take as many deer off the land as possible, as crop deprivation is a major issue here, we have too many deer. I lo...

Fletching nock adaptor

I bought one last year that fit my firebolts, and let me use my Arizona E-Zee Fletch, but where I put it, is anybody's guess. Wife says the only thing I have not turned over looking for it is the house itself. Not only can I not find it, but I have no idea where I got it, nor can I find one via Goog...

I can identify. We got slammed last spring in TN, 20+ inches in a couple of days. Try to keep the vehicles parked on high ground.

Re: Better e-mail your senators

This whole thing has nothing to do with Heath Care, and everything to do with Power. It is a grab for a full 1/6 of the total economy to be placed under the auspices of the Federal Government. $460+ Billion cut in Medicare will gut the system, leaving our seniors at the mercy of the same folks that ...

Re: Where Zero Tolerance can lead

Can count on me as well. I stay very active on 2nd Amendment issues. Right now we have the City of Jackson trying to institute a 15 day waiting period for handgun purchases, which is in direct conflict with a preemption by State Law. Along with the waiting period, they are trying to institute a Code...

Tennessee issue.

For those in Tennessee who are concerned with Chancellor Bonnyman's ruling on HB 0962, Restaurant Carry Bill, that was declared "unconstitutionally vague": How do we fix this problem so that gun owners, law enforcement and judges are no longer confused? Perhaps something like the following: § 39-17-...
