HHA Optimizer--low lite adjustment
Love my HHA. But want to know how those who use them deal with low lite adjustment. Quite often the best shots come at the end of shooting lite. I can't see the numbers on my adjusting wheel without great difficulty--usually use a green or red lite, creating a lot of movement in the shooting house. ...

Re: Width??? Has it been a problem?
Sure has. Shooting houses we use in Ill. have less than 36" windows. Due to their height (22') it is extremely hard to shoot from them. Have broken window with limb on shot before. Find it hard to shoot from 1 man popup due to limb width. Finally, awkward to get in and out of 1 man tree stands ...

Re: Grim Reaper Fatal Steel
I like the 125 grain Xbow bh. Flies like a field pt. Took a 154" buck at 56 yds, a doe at 58 yds., and another doe at 45 yds. All down within 60 yds. Shooting an exocet 200, 412 grain bolt, leupold 2x7 scope and dial site(can't remember name). Used to use boltcutters but had problems with littl...

Optimizer with single crosshairs variable power scope ?
After setting the distance to the target using 3x power can I then change the scope setting to 9x without having to adjust anything and still remain on target?

Big Foot???? Stirrup replacement????
A couple of weeks ago there were posts re. a replacement for the foot stirrup on the Xbow used for cocking it. I liked the idea but haven't heard any thing since. Anyone have an update?

Boltcutter accuracy--need input
I'm shooting fire bolts with bolt cutters and lumenocks this year as I had 2 problems with mechanicals last year (injured and lost 2 deer) which is very unusual. Want to know your experiences with bolt cutters, especially at 30 plus yard ranges. Thanks, I rarely participate but read the forum for al...

Re: uneven limb deflection
Thanks Boo and all others who responded. I now have equal distance between the limbs and the string at the riser and the center of the string does NOT move on the draw. Thanks!!

Re: uneven limb deflection
sorry, only answered part of your response. Noticed issue last fall. Had not used xbow since 10/09 due to breaking my back when I fell out of a tree when the trunk broke( I was hanging my safety harness). I removed the pads and string last fall to see if that might have something to do with the issu...

Re: uneven limb deflection
Thanks for the comeback. Bolts are torqued equally, However the left limb is 5/64ths longer at the point where the limbs touch the riser.
