I like nothing extra on the string. Boo does an amazing job putting them on, and I'm sure they quiet the shot significantly. I'm not planning to copy that. I put a boo's string on the matrix 380 with the whiskers the other day. Oh boy I am impressed! The bow feels and shoots like a different animal.

it looks like the rope cocker is to blame for the exterior, and an arrow nock on the rail. Check both. i imagine the cocker may have some indication on it if its causing that wear

Looks like a milk crate? well this 2 ton dude can stand on a milkcrate and not crash thru, so I think its gonna be plenty strong.
