I took and attached my excalibur quiver to my back pack similar to doghouse ninja's except mine is the other way around, flights down. I can reach back and get another arrow out of the quiver without removing the back pack.

I use Lebolds Butcher Shop in Lucknow 519-528-2242 [email protected]. They had a good sized cow moose to butcher when I dropped off my deer 3 weeks ago.
I know they do a lot of deer for guys after the gun hunt.

Aerial Photos-SW Ontario

For anyone hunting in the Maitland Valley or Saugeen Valley water sheds there are aerial photos available on the Conservation Authority web site. They are fairly new, most taken in the spring of 2006. Their web site is called My Land Our Water http://216.110.238.118/MS_GeoPortal_custom/frames.phtml ...

Check the date on your controlled hunt tags

Check the date on your controlled hunt tags, where Sunday gun hunting is allowed, you have may another day for the shotgun hunt in Southern Ontario. I was planning on bow hunting Sunday untill I found out the the controlled hunt was still on here in my area.

With the Lumi Zone Scope I find I can hunt until pretty much the last moment of legal shooting time, even with a full leaf canopy, here that is 1/2 hour after sun down. Before without the hairs lighting up I would be able to see the deer body but not the crosshairs.

Buck @ 30 yards, went about 70 double lung shot.
130 Grain Wasp -1 1/16 dia - fixed blade broadhead on a Excalibur Firebolt shot from an Exocet 200, approx 390 grain total arrow weight. Was a fat deer very poor blood trail, I believe the fat sealed off entrance/exit holes.

Make sure you remember where you put them, maybe a long while before you need them. I've got a set of spare limbs put away for my Excalibur Wolverine, has to be close to 15 years they have been sitting in the gun locker, have never needed them.
