Re: Need A New Crossbow?

Next thing you know they will come out with longer rails, mag limbs, cranks, take down models ,ect. All it would take is for some kid to shoot his brothers eye out or take it to school and then the lawyers to get involved and all heck will be raised in the tooth pick x bow world. Looks like fun where...

Re: Want to try something new this year

I love my lumenocks. They do make a big difference especially in low light.Easy to follow for shot placement and bolt recovery. I also use mine when I'm dragging a deer out in the evening. I'll have my treestand and crossbow and move them about 50 yards away and place a ligted lumenock there and go...

Re: Just when I thought I didn't need another bow!

I like the wood but the silver rail would have to go it makes it strictly a target bow and all my bows are for feeding my family by filling the freezer.

Re: Busted/Broke Swhacker 150g Broadhead.

My guess is you hit the shoulder blade and the broadhead imbeded it's self in the bone and the deer ran and broke the shaft ,insert on brush or a tree .

Re: "New" gun

That is a beautiful tool you got there congratulations on the buy. I have a very old Remington model 12 pump.22 with a tang peep sight that is a real joy to hunt squirells with. I shoot standerd velocity long rifle or subsonics just to be easy on the action and I refrain from using it in winter or r...

Re: refinish laminate stock?

I have refinished several gun stocks with Tru oil and it is a beautiful finish. It requires mutipul coats with sanding in between with 0000 steel wool between coats but the results are very nice.
If you private message me your phone # I could send a picture of a refinished stock.
