Re: Best 3 things I've bought.....so far

My list would include my Work Sharp combo electric knife sharpener faster and better than my Lansky.
My Crawler deer cart after a few modifications
My Ego 16 inch battery operated chain saw.

Re: New TOTA 3 blade broadhead

A great head for sure but I will stick to my 4 blade 1 1/8 in cut over a 3 blade 1 1/8 head.
I think it is moregooderer :)

I am going to get a extra battery someday off e bay the prices are better than ...

Re: Blood trails

a bit surprised you did not get a pass through with that 1 inch head It was the only unlucky part of the shot. It was a dead center heart shot at 37 yards quartering away but the arrow hung up on the femur of the opposite leg. It was just under the skin. I broke the skin with my knife and pulled it...

Re: mag 340 & 2219 arrows

RW congratulations on the new 340 Mag! You have been given solid advise by everyone but I wanted to chime in as well as my current set up is a 340 with 2219 xx75 shafts. I shoot 16 inch length arrows and it is perfect for a low profile fixed broadhead ( Slick trick 150 xbow ) reaching to the far sid...

Re: Turkeys

As far as broadheads for turkeys go I have had great results just using my deer hunting broadheads 4 blade slick trick x bow heads and shooting for the base of the wing none have flopped for more than 15 seconds .
No special heads needed in my opinion.

Re: Excalibur open sights

Thanks for the insight Don .
That is a shame though their was a great set of guys here and it is hard to find the quality of people that called this forum home in the past.
The ones that remain are still great but we have lost so many for no good reason.
