I currently own the 380. Thinking about picking up a Matrix Bulldog 400. Is there much difference in performance? Size? How about difficulty of cocking?

Looks like around $500 new. How well does a longer rifle scope fit on a Matrix? Does it affect the balance/weight much compared to the shorter stock scopes?
