Matrix 380 vs Matrix Bulldog 400
I currently own the 380. Thinking about picking up a Matrix Bulldog 400. Is there much difference in performance? Size? How about difficulty of cocking?

Re: Matrix 380 sometimes doesn't cock all the way
My 380 does the same thing. After messing around with it I found a really simple fix when it happens...pull the trigger! That's all it takes. When the string is caught in the anti dry fire mechanism, just pull the trigger and the trigger latch will snap back to the open position. Then grab your hand...

Re: Crossbow Shooting Form
I don't see why it should be different from a rifle but the lock time is much longer on a crossbow so form is more critical. You pretty much need a level to shoot consistently off hand. I'm right handed and shoot with my left elbow tucked against my left side and my left hand a head of the trigger g...

X2, The Leupold Firedot reticle is amazing and the VX R low light performance is very desirable where I hunt in thick bushlot whitetail habitats.[/quote]
Do you have any pictures of you bow with the Leupold VX R? I'd love to see what it looks like with the longer scope.

Re: Looking for scope recommendations
Looks like around $500 new. How well does a longer rifle scope fit on a Matrix? Does it affect the balance/weight much compared to the shorter stock scopes?

Looking for scope recommendations
I'm looking to replace the stock scope on my M380 and need some input. I'm looking for a scope with very good low light performance with good eye relief and it must have a lighted reticle. I'm tired of having to spend time "lining up" my eye and the scope to avoid the scope being dark, and...

Thanks torana! That confirms my concern with the wide angle lens. I will look into some others as mentioned above.

Re: Who's using action cameras on their xbows?
My cousin has a go pro and brought it to the range recently and was recording some crossbow shots. It was very hard to see, even with a Luminok out to sixty yards. The big drawback for me was that everything looked much further than it actually was. I just ordered a Tactacam for myself. I can't com...

Who's using action cameras on their xbows?
I'm looking to pick up an action camera (think Go Pro) to use on my Excalibur and when I'm snowmobiling in the winter. I'd like to hear peoples opinions on what they have used and how they liked it, recommendations. Go Pro gets all the advertising, but with the little research I've done there are a ...

Re: Looking for a quiet sling or ideas
That was going to be my short term solution if there wasn't another option. Sounds like I'm not the only one with the swivels making noise.
