Re: i hope you guys hunt better than you play hockey

I grew up in Wisconsin and played hockey. Living now where the only ice people see is from the local convenience store most here couldn't tell a puck from a breakfast biscuit. But they seemed to like watching the game very much and if we had to lose it was good to lose to the Canadians our kind good...

Re: My hunting room update

Have you considered any crown molding? I think it might finish off the ceiling/wall junction and make that seam a little sharper. If you do I would suggest a very small quarter round stained the same color as the shields on your mounts. The area is small so you don't want large crown molding or it c...

Wonder what they going to do with that little one?

We always let them little ones like that go and only take the big ones for our rattlesnake roundup! :D

Re: Electronic Predator Calls

I am sure that is a great call but I just cant bring myself to spend $400 on a caller. What I do is pickup old boom boxes at thrift or second hand stores that use a cassette or CD for around ten bucks and spray them OD green. I use rechargeable batteries and you can easily find tapes or CD's for nex...

Re: Coyote attacks again

On the days that I am running the gas lines I probably see 20 to 25 every time and they flat out hightail it outa dodge in a heartbeat when they see me. We are not allowed to carry rifles as they dont mix with gas lines very well so I never get to kill any while I am working. All the coyotes here as...

Re: Coyote Bounty in Ontario

Just to show how different things are where we all live there are no bounties on coyotes here and they are everywhere. Where I live we have bounties on Cedar trees and the counties will pay you for everyone you kill as they suck all the moisture out of the ground and prevent grasses and the like fro...
