Excalibur rings are fine,they work. I did upgrade mine though. I'm starting to like the lighted reticles.

I had a rifle in spider web pattern once, and had to sell it. I spent to much time picking the stuck flies out off it. I'll be here all week. But yes it's a neat idea. I'd have to have one.

I shoot a 425gr arrow at 333 f.p.s. 225# If I shot 175# the same arrow is 289f.p.s This must mean there is NO! advantage. You can't argue with physics. I must be wrong. Sorry everyone. P.S. I get 104 l.b.s. of energy.

Cossack, You just proved me right, I said the same speed not the same bow. Please reread the post. I'm done stirring the hornets nest now. The reason for the post was to let people know there is a reason for the heavier bows, not necessarily a need for them. Also you agree on more K.E. If speed drop...

Cossack, flatter trajectory yes. The heavier arrow will retain it's velocity longer, therefore trajectory is less. I have personally proven it. This is a light arrow & a heavy arrow side by side at the same speed. It sounds a little weird but it's true. :D Think of a 22-250 & a 7mm RUM. both...
