Re: Firenock D nock on a Micro?
I don't think you want to use any type of nock that grabs the string. It's not like shooting a vertical bow. Excalibur only recommends using flat nocks on the arrows that you shoot out of any of the Excalibur line bows.

Re: Buffalo Arrows Ready to Test
Ha....they look exactly like my arrows I made last year for deer hunting...same colors and all!! If I didn't know any better I'd swear you swiped mine out of my quiver...  I think you're going to really like that set up. I was shooting a 2 blade Rage crossbow bh and it blew right through ...

Re: Rinehart 18-1 targets, and arrow removal?
The faster the impact speed, the higher the friction and heat produced. It's the heat from friction that melts the foam to the arrow shaft, but for some reason as lvt01 noted, aluminum doesn't seem to stick so badly. I'm thinking that it has to do with the porousness of the carbon versus the alumin...

Re: How to modify the R.E.D.S. ball
I found that the easiest way to modify the REDs is to loosen the little set screw under the riser, pull the REDs off and then put Danny Millers RBBB's back in their place!    . Sorry...coundn't resist being a smart aleck today! I did the drill trick that Boo described too and th...

Re: Rinehart 18-1 targets, and arrow removal?
I've gone pretty much to shooting only Easton full metal jacket arrows at my 18:1. No matter what head on have on them, I can easily remove them without using my Danny Miller pliers. If I shoot any of my other carbon arrows at it...then I need to use the pliers to break them loose from the target.

Re: From the spam table
So do you just "crack" the windows open a bit when you set up to shoot off the table or do you slide them wide open???
You definitely got some nice thunder chickens down there!

CB....the only problem with that is the Eclipse isn't a solid black. They have kind of checker board, light gold and black pattern and aren't a solid black. It'd look OK, but you really could see the difference.

Re: Gettin' a 355. Couple questions.
If you're deciding whether to go with a REDs or the Danny Miller version...I'd go with Danny's. Nothing to do to his, but bolt it on and you're ready to go. The REDs you should grind the head off the ball done a bit to get the rubber bumpers to last longer. Plus, his is less expensive and it's a mig...

Re: RAGE bh AND THE MATRIX 380
Just took a doe with with my Matrix 355 using the Rage 125g 2 blade with the new collar. It was a quartering to me shot and it seemed fly and deploy just fine. I've been using the 125g NAP XP pro's for several years with good success and decided to try the new Rage for myself. I'd use them again.

Re: Matrix vs. Center Serving
My 355 is no worse than my Ibex used to be, but I did put a Trigger tech trigger on it. Think the 380 is a little harder on them though.

Re: Thumbholes?
One of the fellas on here had Danny Miller switch the 355 stock for a vixen stock when he bought his 355 package from him. I always thought that wouldn't work, but apparently it does. Maybe wanna check with Danny Miller if you want a matrix and don't like the thumb hole look. My preference is the th...

Just use a piece of shrink tube on it. Takes a lot of the twang out of it.

Re: Discount on Thermacell insoles
Just bought a new pair of eBay for $90 shipped to me. Thought that was a fair deal. Hope they work as good as others have said they do!
