I took this fine tom last Saturday (April 28th) at 7:00am after calling in a jake. I had a hen and jake decoy set up at 20 and 25 yards. I agree with the last few posts. Turkey's have a very shor memory and can be called back into the same area with some changes in calling. Don't give up on the bird or the area.

This is the exit wound from a wasp SST hammer from the ground at 10 yards. The picture does not do the wound justice as it was much bigger. The leg is back which hides some of the wound.
