Re: How Do You Transport Your Excalibur?

F150 extended cab...I lay mine on the backseat with the left limb between the front seats supported by the center console and the right limb tucked between the rear seat back and seat bottom which lets the stock rest on the seat as well. Bow rides very well there

Re: Military Mickey Mouse Boots

Yes, Mickey Mouse boots do have a long standing reputation as being very warm, but very heavy also. Would be an ok choice if you are not walking very far to your stand.

Re: Arrow makin'

Whatever happened to guys using Fletch-Tite? That is all I've ever used on wood shafts (dipped and crested) with feathers as well as aluminum shafts (some dipped and crested, some raw aluminum) with vanes and feathers and I have never had a vane/feather come loose. I clean the raw shafts well with a...

Re: Advice for Old Rookie

Welcome to the forum! I found out A LOT from being here for almost a year now. I am an ex-traditional shooter as well and had to take up the xbow to continue bowhunting due to shoulder issues. I wanted to keep my arrows similar to my recurve arrows so I used what I had left and it has worked very we...

Re: carrots and/or corn as bait

May be good, have seen where they actually tried to dig frozen in carrots from the ground. Good luck But baiting is a big no no here, even deer blocks with food particles like acorns embedded are considered baiting. Salt or mineral blocks only. Not allowed ANYTHING in PA that is not natural (doe ur...

Re: The end of an era.

Yep I definitely say skin and de-bone your kills in the field! I packed an entire deer out on my back with my Nimrod pack system, not to mention when you ...

Drilled & Tapped Holes

Question...on the underside of my Ibex, there are two drilled and tapped holes in what would be the underside of the rail between where the plastic fore-end stops and where the limb assembly mounts to the rail...anyone have any idea what these "blank" holes are for?
