You want to know what works really well, once the bear charges you simply turn the bow around and poke him one with the buttstock!!! Check out T-Roy from Team Backwoods on this northern Alberta bear hunt... He is put in the situation and does exactly that...probably should have been wearing depends!...

Finally connected with a buck I have been watching for a couple seasons, a heavy beamed 7 point (eight last year) 21 inch inside spread and 25 inch beams. My recovery team consisted of my wife and daughters, great family fun....
